New Scrap bags arrived 9/1/2010 so check out the newest availability. Moda Scrap Bags are the remnants of Moda precuts such as Layer Cakes and Charm Packs. Scrap bags have approximately 30 color coordinated 32" by 2 to 4" wide selvage strips of all cotton fabric. There is approximately 1/2 to 1 pound of fabric for each bag. A jelly roll is about one pound so consider this a bargain at $11.25. Suggested retail is $11.99 for the new scrap bags. NOTE THERE IS APPROXIMATELY 10 to 13 oz. of fabric in each scrap bag that I have weighed. As a general rule the fabric is all the same fabric line but occasionally I have found some odd ball fabrics in the bag. I should be able to put 3 scrap bags in a flat rate envelope depending on the bulk of the fabric. There are a few Christmas fabric lines with this batch of Scrap Bags. All of the scrap bags available are listed in the drop down box. Just choose which ones you would like to order. The Adoring Scrap Bags are another Christmas line available in Scrap Bags. The Adoring Scrap Bags were packaged in two different color ways. There are some bags with more greens and some bags with more blues. Choose one of each to get a good variety of prints. The remainder of the scrap bags are primarily fabric that is due to arrive this fall with a few exceptions as described below. Martinique by 3 Sisters is currently available in yardage and precuts. The Park Avenue line also by 3 Sisters can coordinate with the Martinique fabric. There are two different fabric lines where the Scrap Bags do not have a selvage edge but instead both edges are pinked. The fabric lines are Garden Party fabric by Blackbird designs and Martinique by 3 Sisters. Future fabric lines with Scrap Bags are A Simpler Time by Holly Taylor, Summers End by Kansas Troubles Quilters, and Breakfast at Tiffany's by Fig Tree Quilts. Charm Packs are currently available for the Breakfast at Tiffany's line. Yardage is on order for Summer's End as well.
